Yesterday, Troy took Evelyn to her very first swim lesson.  The local parks & recreation department offers “Waterbabies” classes for babies 6 months and up.  Even at 8 months old, Evy was by far the youngest baby in the class, and I was surprised to when Troy told me that they were actually teaching skills and not just splashing around.  He tried to get Evy to blow bubbles in the water, but I guess she was more interested in opening her mouth wide to drink the water instead.

Funny side note though: later in the bathtub, Evy started leaning down to put her mouth in the water.  So either she’s trying to blow bubbles in the bath, or she’s figured out that she can drink the bathwater.
