My Blog
I’m convinced that Evy is teething, despite the fact the the doctor told us he couldn’t feel anything.  So lately, she has been going, “mmmmmm.....mmmm,” by pulling her lips over her gums, which I think she finds soothing.  Then the other day, she started going, “mmmm-aa,” and now she’s been saying “ma-ma-ma-ma,” which I’m going to go ahead and pretend that she’s calling me Mama.  Actually, yesterday, she started saying, “da-da-da-da-da” too.  Even though it doesn’t really mean anything, it’s still pretty exciting to hear.
One of the funnier things that Evy just started doing is what we’ve come to refer to as the Grumpyface, pictured above.  I’m not sure if she’s actually making it because she’s mad or just because she can.  Either way, it’s pretty funny.
Other things that Evelyn has been doing:
She LOVES the remote control, especially the one for the cable (which lights up).  She is constantly lunging for them, even if means taking a header off my lap and into the coffee table.  She also has figured out how to bang things down.  This means that when she does get a hold of the remote, she either bangs it into the shelf on the bottom of the coffee table, or better yet, hits me with it.  Not really a fun development, but still significant.

Say Mama!
